Operation Christmas Child

Once again Alton Maltings is supporting the fantastic work of Operation Christmas Child which brings a little bit of Christmas joy to children often in the most desperate of situations by collecting shoe boxes of presents that will end up in the hands of the youngsters.

Harvest Church, which is located at Alton Maltings, is driving the campaign to support Samaritan's Purse, an organisation based on the biblical parable of the good Samaritan, as it distributes tens of thousands of shoe boxes to children across the globe.

Don't underestimate the impact of a shoe box!

When children have very little, a shoe box of presents will make a massive difference to them.

To get involved, all you need to do is collect a shoe box from Alton Maltings reception, which comes with ideas for what gifts to buy, and fill it with unwrapped presents and return to Alton Maltings between November 1 and 18.
