Alton Community Health Discussion

Monday 20th February, 2017

Not all medical issues need hospital treatment, but how do you know whether or not your ailment does?

Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospitals' consultant in acute medicine and critical care, Dr Tanuj Lad, will present and discuss out-patient care for Alton residents on Tuesday, February 28 at Alton Maltings. In his talk, Dr Lad will talk about how certain emergency patients can be referred to ambulatory care (care provided outside of a hospital) where they receive clinical assessments, investigations, treatments through to discharge, without the need to go to hospital.

The doors open at this free session at 6pm where refreshments will be available before a 6.30pm start. The presentation will feature a question and answer session, allowing you to ask experts consultants and the management of our region's medical care about the care that matters to you.
