The Alton Maltings

The Alton Maltings is as a Community Interest Company, a Not For Profit organisation which means that the monies raised by all activities that are hosted here go towards the upkeep and staffing of the building.

One of the easiest ways to support the Maltings is to use it; have a party, a celebration, a work function or even attend one of the many weekly activities that are located at the centre. Why not come and check us out.

Café Rafters

The cafe is staffed by volunteers, typically from the local churches. They provide a welcoming place for anyone from the community to come, sit and enjoy a cuppa and food.. For some, the cafe is a safe place to sit and to find someone that will take the time out to say a friendly 'hello'; this means the role of our cafe volunteers is more than serving coffee and cakes, or a lunch, it is to smile and welcome everyone that comes through the doors.
